"Vanalok's restoration work in the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve transformed not just the landscape, but the livelihoods of thousands of families who now see themselves as its guardians."

Executed for the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB), this state-level awareness campaign reached over 1.58 crore citizens across Karnataka. More than 50,000 eco-friendly turmeric Ganesha idols were created, eliminating chemical pollution from water bodies. The campaign earned both the Asia Book of Records and the Guinness Book of Records — a landmark moment in eco-advocacy.
Built for the State Planning Commission, Tamil Nadu, this interpretation centre in Salem brings to life the little-known Bengal Fox — a species facing habitat loss and declining populations. Through immersive dioramas, interactive touchscreens, taxidermy, paw-print casts, and multilingual conservation panels, the centre now serves as a model for wildlife storytelling in India. Part of 16 such Nature Interpretation Centres established by Vanalok across 7 states.
From Bandipur Tiger Reserve to university campuses, Vanalok has conducted 9 immersive nature camps, 4 university-level credit courses, and 8 specialised training programs reaching students, educators, forest officers, and communities. Partnering with WaterAid, FRLHT, JAIN University, UAS Dharwad & Shivamogga, and the Karnataka Forest Department, these programs transform how the next generation understands biodiversity — by living inside it.
Whether you're a researcher, a corporation, a government agency, or an individual who simply cares — there's a meaningful place for you in the Vanalok ecosystem.
